Nature and Climate

Situated in the south of Kazakhstan, the region is has a sharply continental climate - with mild winters and hot summers.

Spring

Spring in Southern Kazakhstan is a sight to behold as the meadows get covered with fresh grass, trees, flowers (tulips in particular) begin to bloom and fill the air with delightful aroma. This seems to energize the population as after the winter months the temperature rises to +20 +25C starting from April. An excellent season for outings in the countryside
What to pack: light jacket, cardigan, and umbrella for rainy

Summer

Summer in Southern Kazakhstan is hot and sunny. You may have up to 7 rainy days at most over the summer months. The rest of the time you will enjoy blue cloudless sky and tender sun rays. Average temperature in summer it fluctuates between +30 +40C. In summer we recommend to spend vacation somewhere in the mountains, near the rivers. The air is coller and fresher there and you will definitely enjoy the picturesque sights of nature in combination with trekking tours and horse riding.
What to pack: sunglasses and sunscreen. As for clothes, anything light goes in the summer here: from shorts and sandals to jeans and sundresses. If you are going to travel to the mountains bring appropriate sportswear and jackets, since it\\'s likely to be chilly over there.

Fall

The fallen-off leaves cover the ground with an amazing \\'live\\' multicolored carpet, while the temperatures are milder compared to those in summer with still a lot of pleasant sunshine. Recommend to visit the local Dendropark in autumn, where you will see the variety of plants brought there from all over the world.
