Kazakhstan, Jordan discussed cooperation issues on tourism.[Thursday, June 05 @ 14:05:20 MSD]



Kazakh Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Bulat Sarsenbayev discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in touristm industry with Jordanian Tourism Minister Maha Khatib, Kazinform refers to the Kazakh embassyТs press service.
Kazakh Ambassador informed Jordanian Minister that Kazakh party carried out domestic procedures so that the Agreement on KZ and Jordan tourism cooperation, signed in Astana on August 2007, come into force. B.Sarsenbayev told about Action Plan on cooperation development in tourism sphere. Kazakh diplomat acquainted Jordanian Minister with our countryТs socio-economic achievements and investments in tourism, opening of Jordanian Cultural days in Astana and Almaty and invited to take part in it.

M. Hatib expressed interest in participation in the Jordanian Cultural Days and thanked for proposals on tourism cooperation activation between the two states. Jordanian minister promised to consider the proposals on cooperation development in tourism sphere and informed that her Department agreed with the Action Plan on cooperation development in this sphere.

The negotiations between the two states were held under the Kazakh President Nursultan NazarbayevТs instruction given after Jordanian KingТs official visit to Kazakhstan.
