Kazakhstan to join Central Asian Convention on environmental protection[Thursday, June 05 @ 14:03:51 MSD]



Kazakhstan will join the Convention on environmental protection of Central Asian countries. Chief ecologist of the state Nurlan Iskakov has made it public at a press conference on holding the first international forum УSustainable development of the Eurasian continentФ.
According to the Chairman of the Interstate Commission on Central Asian statesТ sustainable development, the framework convention was signed by Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan. He expressed hope Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan would join it this year.

A strategy of Central Asian sustainable development is expected to be presented at the forum today. Then it will be coordinated in the countries.
